Hello there! We are the Wandering Unicorns and welcome to our blog/website.
We have spent the last three years documenting our local/ foreign travels on our Instagram page, @wandering_unicorns, visiting more than 20 different cities – with Sydney, Gold Coast, Florence and London topping our list as favorites.
First of all, let us introduce ourselves, we are Chathri & Achintha, two travel enthusiasts with full time jobs in the corporate sector, from the paradise island that added the word ‘Serendipity’ to the English Dictionary! Yes, you guessed it right. We are from Sri Lanka.
Who’s Chathri – I am the one who creates all the content and make sure everything is perfect before I post it on our blog. You can say I’m somewhat of a perfectionist. I am also an extreme foodie who happens to be working for the largest Industrial catering company in SL.
Who’s Achintha – That guy who constantly worries about how he looks in pictures. You can say he knows a thing or two about photography as he always gets the angles and the locations right. Also, he can’t resist dogs and cats and basically all kinds of animals.
We truly live by the motto “Work Hard. Travel harder”. As you can see, both of us are extremely passionate about travel. Thus, we are on a mission to find out and experience the best hotels and destinations both local and foreign. Life everyday can become tough to handle, and we have made travel our safe heaven as we both love and enjoy it immensely.
